Join Nelson-based artist, Gillian Kloet, on Saturday, September 5 from 10:30am - 2:00pm for a hands-on printmaking workshop exploring simple, expressive techniques inspired by nature, memory, and place.

Gillian is a printmaker and educator whose work centres on community, creativity, and a deep respect for the landscapes we inhabit. Through her workshops, she aims to foster curiosity, connection, and a lifelong engagement with art.

Working with hand-carved linoleum blocks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of block printing and create your own print to take home. With Gillian’s one-on-one support, you’ll be encouraged to draw from the natural world while exploring a process that is both playful and intentional. All skill levels and abilities are welcome.

Registration for Printed by Nature costs $60.00 and includes the following:

• 3.5 hours of expert instruction, demos, and one-on-one support with Gillian Kloet, including a guided walk for inspiration
• All supplies required to create a finished print including:
  • Block of lino
  • Carving tool
  • Paper & ink
