Discover the art of capturing action shots in mountain settings with legendary photographer Stephan Malette.

Covering everything from mastering camera settings and working with fast-moving subjects to approaching event-style photoshoots, participants will gain hands-on experience through the opportunity to photograph the Organic Slopestyle Competition taking place concurrently on-mountain, followed by an indoor session where you'll learn valuable tips and tricks for editing your photos.

What to Bring: Skis / Snowboard, helmet, DSLR / mirrorless camera, laptop for editing, warm layers.

Prerequesites: Intermediate to advanced skier / rider, previous photography skills not required but an asset.

What you will learn:
• Shot Precision: Techniques for capturing perfectly timed and sharply focused shots.
• Event Photography: Experience shooting a live competition and understanding the dynamics of action-packed events.
• Photo Editing: Mastering post-production techniques using Lightroom to enhance colors, adjust exposure, and bring out the best in your images.
• Creative Expression: How to capture shots to communicate a tone or feeling, telling a compelling story through your photography.

A Season Pass or Lift Ticket is required. Clinic participants who do not have a Season Pass are eligible for 25% off All Mountain Full-Day Lift Tickets at Guest Services. Any participants under 19 years of age will need a parent or guardian to sign their Special Events Waiver in order to compete. There will be no refunds for this event.
